Looking for THE boat

(Google translation )

Easier to peel ads when you already know what type of boat you looking for. Especially as Outremer 45, there is no mass ...

A specimen at St. Marteen in the Caribbean has caught our attention. After several emails and phone calls to get more information on the boat, we decided to go see the animal more closely. But we had to act quickly because the owners were about to leave for the transatlantic back. They delayed their departure a few days for us to explore the boat before arriving in France in mid-August 2009.

We  left end of May, in the sunny Caribbean to visit the boat. 17 hours of travel, 3 hour delay (strike the cleaning of the aircraft) and we meet Jean-Louis . What happiness!

We fall under the spell of "Essential" and owners Chantal and Jean-Louis. We were immediately comfortable on the boat. Unfortunately the tour ends in the dark, without finishing  the cata visit ... Bed early; Jetlag forces, we have not slept all night, too excited ...

Awake at no time, we are at 5am on the beach to admire Essential ... True, he is beautiful!

Then in the morning, we go back on board. After searching everywhere, asked tons of questions, took pictures, serious things started ...

We signed the sales agreement for Essential and celebrated, not without emotion the deal with champagne. Not easy for Jean-Louis and Chantal to let their babies ... It's a whole page in their life at sea turns. For us, it's a new chapter opens. A strange atmosphere, a mixture of feelings, sadness, excitement, anxiety (this is by far our largest purchase!) ...

2 days later we returned to Pornic a light heart and relieved to have found the boat of our dreams, but frustrated to have to wait for his return to France in August.
